Find out about our Yoga with Buzz programme; available at your Busy Bees' centre and via our UP app.
Yoga helps to enhance flexibility, strength, balance, coordination and body awareness; all skills needed for everyday life. Carrying out yoga with your child can support their physical development as well as developing concentration, ability to follow instructions and helping to create a sense of calmness and relaxation.
Our yoga programme has been developed with an experienced and qualified yoga teacher. In the programme you will find a range of experiences to try with your child. Many of these are linked to nursery rhymes and support your child in following the movements.

Spring into Spring and enjoy these yoga poses together at home!
Encourage your child to join in with these Spring time animal poses with you; try to hold each pose for a few seconds, breathing deeply.
Butterfly pose- Sit on your bottom with your legs out in front of you. Place the soles of your feet together and bend your legs slightly so your knees are wide. Can your child flap their arms like a butterfly?

Rabbit hop - From their rabbit pose can they push their hands firmly into the floor and kick their legs upwards? For less mobile children, sit them on your lap and bounce them up and down!
